Kendric spent the bulk of his adolescent years convinced that he wanted to be a writer. Eventually, he realized that, although he would greatly enjoy being a writer, he wasn't especially interested in writing, and reconsidered his life plans.
After a year spent wandering around Japan, drawing constantly, he decided to pursue his other great interest, and enrolled at the Savannah College of Art and Design as a painting major.
An excellent two years of study followed, in which he gained not only skills, but a clearer sense of his interests; he decided to seek out traditional academic training, feeling he needed a more intensive and directed course of study.
In a fine piece of good fortune, he was accepted into the Intensive Drawing Program at the Florence Academy of Art. Currently, he is finishing the drawing program there, with the anticipation of continuing to reside in Italy while studying painting.
